Public Transportation
Our Public Buses operate, starting with the first Departure from town, Clockwise at 7:00am Monday to Saturday till 5:00pm. The Anticlockwise buses first Departure starts from town is at 8:30am and runs up to the last anticlockwise departure at 4:30 pm.
All departures are hourly from town, Clockwise on the hour, Anticlockwise at 30 minutes past the hour from Cook’s Corner.(Please Note, the Saturday anticlockwise bus runs to 1:30pm) The Night Bus runs every hour nightly, from 6:00pm to 11:00pm being the last departure from Monday to Saturday .
Sunday bus runs Clockwise only on the hour, starting at 8:00 am to 12:00pm then 2:00pm to 4:00pm with a break between 1:00 and 2:00 pm. There is no Anticlockwise or Night Bus on Sundays.

Airport Transfers
We offer Group Transportation to and from the Airport. We are also supply luggage transportation if needed.
Please note that this Service is charged at a per bus rate and is suited for groups of 20+ Passengers
Pricing
These are our standard fares and apply all year. All Fares can be purchased on the Bus from the Bus Driver. Please note that there is a Luggage Charge of $2 per piece for any Large Bags or Suitcases. The Driver will assess the size of your luggage and charge accordingly.
All Fares are in NZD. USD, AUD and EURO Notes are accepted currency but ONLY at a DOLLAR FOR DOLLAR rate. The public bus service is not equipped to accept currency at any calculated exchange rate. There are various Currency Exchange offices and Banks in the Main Town Area(Central Business District/City) where you can exchange your currency.
Adult One Way – Single Ride $5
Catch the Bus from Point A to Point B without making a full circle of the Island.
Adult Return – Two Rides $8
Catch the Bus from Point A to Point B without making a full circle of the Island. Then from Point B back to Point A without making a full circle of the Island.
Round Trip – Circle Island Tour $8
Catch the Bus for a Full Ride around the Island from Point A back to Point A without disembarking the bus.
Child One Way – Child Single Ride $3
Catch the Bus from Point A to Point B without making a full circle of the Island. For Children only aged 3yrs to 12yrs.
Child Return – Child Two Rides $4
Catch the Bus from Point A to Point B without making a full circle of the Island. Then from Point B back to Point A without making a full circle of the Island. For Children only aged 3yrs to 12yrs
